Glitch in Legacy[edit]

Can anyone fix the trouble with the graphics overlay issue in the Legacy portion? I tried but was only partially successful. I don't know if it's a browser issue, but both Safari and Firefox fail to display it correctly. It's distracting, and an article should display properly in any browser. Help anyone? I don't see anything wrong. Sometimes the browser flows text around images oddly, have you tried resizing the screen to see if that is the problem? Brianhe 16:46, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Curious. Yeah, changing the window size does fix the problem. Why would certain window sizes cause text to flow behind a graphic? The bigger the window, the worse the problem. At least there's a fix! Thanks Brian. Crashmasterd 17:30, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Horsepower vs Power[edit]

The article was recently edited to change most references of "horsepower" to "power", but now some sections don't make sense. You can't say an engine design has 20% more power; you can say that peak horsepower was increased by 20%, or peak torque output was increase by 20%, and these increases do not necessarily interact with each other. Performance section[edit]

The following was incorrectly added to the Performance section. The statement is about flaws not related to the performance of the design, but rather to defects and weakness in non-performance details of it's construction. "There was however a factory flaw in the tacho; these were replaced under warranty. Also if the battery is not kept full charged, it can cause a fault in the starter motor, which is expensive to correct." As with any motor vehicle, a list of common flaws and recalls is not appropriate for Wikipedia unless they illustrate a specific history of the vehicle or it's manufacturer. e.g. Company X model B have been involved in lawsuits due to result F. The following defects (list) have been determined to be the cause of result F, based on court documents and independent tests by group m. (OR) 1974 Ford Pinto Hatchbacks have been involved in lawsuits due to their tendency to catch fire when impacted from the rear. This has been determined to be caused by the improper location and protection of the fuel tank by independent engineering and safety tests. Crashmasterd (talk) 17:18, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The new Triumph also quickly built a reputation for rock solid reliability that its competitors couldn't match. A statement like this definitely needs some citations. There aren't any of course. So ^h^h^h

Persistent spamming[edit]

This article seems to attract spammers more than most. Can other editors help remove commercial links, web forums and other inappropriate links per WP:EL#Links normally to be avoided? I've tagged the external links section to require people to discuss new links on the talk page before adding them. Brianhe (talk) 19:48, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Category for British Motorcycles[edit]

As part of the Motorcycling WikiProject I am working though all the missing articles and stubs for British Bikes. To make things easier to sort out I have created a category for British motorcycles. Please will you add to any British motorcycle pages you find or create. It will also help to keep things organised if you use the Template:Infobox Motorcycle or add it where it is missing. I've linked the Category to the Commons British Motorcycles so you could help with matching pics to articles or adding the missing images to the Commons - take your camera next time you go to a rally! 2021[edit]

I pulled a ton of facts straight from Triumph YouTube presentations and Triumph website, and made a nice write-up, then editors deleted it all mostly. Good luck to you guys. I've removed the link to Wikipedia from our external resources.
