Requested move[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: disambiguation page created and moved to "Trouble Man", this necessitated a move of the film to "Trouble Man (film)". Everyone seemed agreed that the film was not the primary usage but not everyone was convinced that the T.I. album was primary usage despite the very large difference in page views. I've no objection personally to a new requested move discussion. DrKiernan (talk) 19:12, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

– Basically, there is a need for an administrator to create a disambiguation page for "Trouble Man" and change the primary because there are four articles with this title: the film Trouble Man, the soundtrack album Trouble Man (album), the T.I. album Trouble Man (T.I. album), and the Marvin Gaye song Trouble Man (song). Are you suggesting that the T.I album is the primary topic because if not the dab page should be at Trouble Man instead?--174.93.171.10 (talk) 00:11, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose since the nominator is suggesting that a disambiguation page should be primary, but the requested move is not formulated that way... so a dsiambiguation page should be made primary instead of the current formulation of the move. -- 65.92.181.190 (talk) 06:32, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that dab page should be created first and then a request can be made to have that moved to Trouble Man and the other article moved to Trouble Man (film) if there is evidence that the film is not the primary topic. This page should not be moved unless there is evidence that this is the primary topic (ie better known as Trouble Man than all the other articles combined) and so far no evidence has been provided.--174.93.171.10 (talk) 05:17, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I worded my nomination poorly. I meant to say that the disambiguation page should be ")Trouble Man (disambiguation". Or perhaps we could do "Trouble Man", depending on how much the traffic to this page changes after the album's release.Hoops gza (talk) 01:02, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Once again is there any evidence that this is the primary meaning of Trouble Man because if not the dab page should be at Trouble Man not Not Trouble Man (disambiguation)? Based on the lack of evidence I see no reason to move this page.--174.93.171.10 (talk) 21:47, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In the past 30 days this page has 87,944 views, which is far more than for any of the other articles of the same title. This would suggest that this page (T.I. album) is indeed the primary topic.Hoops gza (talk) 01:34, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone know about the album change from Trouble Man to Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head?? I saw it on his youtube channel and I just wanted to know. Thanks. Georgia Peachez (talk) 17:45, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Support move to Trouble Man and creation of disambiguation page. STATic message me! 23:27, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose move. There's no evidence that this unreleased album is the primary meaning and it seems unlikely. Probably, in view of previous chart success of T.I. vs the importance of the film and song, there's no primary meaning right now. Regardless Trouble Man (disambiguation) should exist as either a DAB or a pointer to it. It doesn't need an admin or a RM to set this up, but I can help if you drop me a line on my talk page. 2nd Move Request[edit]

Album is officially called Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head, so I think it should be moved to Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head. SrGangsta (talk) 16:55, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
