Wire wheels: Wire wheels#On motorcycles says only main article: Motorcycle construction#Wheels, but that is not a main article, it is a subsection. Bicycle wheel is a better article, but none of these 3 actually explains how spokes support the wheel pre-stressed w/compression.
I have amended the wording of this article to make it more readable. It still isn't perfect, and the spelling (tire/tyre) needs tidying - I'll revisit it when I have a bit more time... Paul-b4 09:34, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Popular among those whom the benefits are worth the costs..[edit]
"Road tubeless is gaining popularity among riders for whom the benefits are worth the costs." Of course, anything can be worthwhile if the benefits outweigh the costs. Hope someone can clarify this by adding what the advantages and disadvantages are. Sauer202 (talk) 16:26, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
