POV[edit]

With respect to the editor who obviously put a lot of effort into the article, it shows serious POV issues. I began, I thought to wikify parts of the article, but found serious problems with either Peacock wording, POV (or even possible plagiarism?- I admit I didn't look that far). However, comments like these:

  • "While more elitist performers perform fewer shows with higher ticket prices, Tina grabbed the brass ring with a whopping ninety-five North American shows. Tina's earning topped $80.2 million on this North American tour."
  • "Tina Turner put on a very good show. Between pyrotechnics going off, the stage splitting and moving, and a 60 feet moving stage arm, that goes over the audience, the show was a great show."

Those are not acceptable in an encyclopedia without referencing, PLUS--

  1. Generally, a You Tube reference alone isn't sufficient, particularly with a fansite as a external reference.
  2. The names of personnel on the list are all in capital letters, and I believe that is not Wikipedian practice. I don't normally edit the album pages, so I'm not 100% sure on the last point, but have never seen it before. --leahtwosaints (talk) 01:21, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
