As a reference for future reviews, I've added even more sources now. They are structured as follows:

[1] primary source where twisted mass fermions were introduced

[2] open access journal review providing an introduction as well as an overview over the uses of twisted mass fermions (>300 citations)

[3-4] peer reviewed publications discussing twisted mass fermions in detail and comparing them to other approaches

[5] text book dedicating a section to an introduction and detailed explanation of twisted mass fermions (relevant chapter indicated)
