It is fact that Tynecastle is now the eighth largest stadium in Scotland, so why is this being continually changed back?

3rd/5th largest stadium[edit]

There seems to be a point of contention here about the 3rd/5th largest debate. Once increased to 23,000 it would become the 3rd largest in the SPL (after Ibrox and C.Park) and the 5th largest in Scotland (Ibrox, C.Park, Hampden and Murrayfield would all still be considerably larger). Would it be an idea to include both these statistics as a sort of compromise? Lord Cornwallis (talk) 16:16, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It should be left as it is because you don't know which teams will be in the SPL at that point. The point is theoretical enough (Aberdeen may also build a stadium >25,000) without adding that factor as well. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 15:55, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I suppose that is a point. Hearts themselves might not be in the SPL by then. We should probably just stick to saying fifth largest in Scotland. That should be true, I doubt any new stadiums in Aberdeen or Dundee would be finished first. Lord Cornwallis (talk) 16:01, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
