Merge[edit]

The content from No.2 class escort ship has been merged to here, following discussion here, because a) these pages were on the same class of ship under two names, and b) "No 2 class" was a misnomer. Xyl 54 (talk) 01:20, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Turbine engines[edit]

The article talks about "turbine engines", and this was linked (via redirect) to Gas turbine. Since a turbine engine can be either steam or gas, I clarified the text by changing "turbine engine" to "gas turbine engine". But it seems pretty unlikely to me that the Japanese would have been using gas turbine engines in their escorts in 1943. On the other hand, the article does not talk about boilers. Normally I would check the sources, but there are none for this statement. GA-RT-22 (talk) 06:19, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Steam turbines, not gas turbines.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 07:59, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
