Manual of style related edits[edit]

@DyslexicNerd 01: As I posted on your user talk page, the changes that were made the other day were done to bring the article's content more inline with Wikipedia's Mannual of Style and other relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines. There were parts of the article that weren't in accordance with the Manual of Style that my edits fixed. Edit summaries were left for each of the edits made explaining what was being fixed, but perhaps you didn't notice them since you appear to be relatively new to Wikipedia. That's OK and if you want some clarification, then just ask. However, please don't continue to restore the older version of the article since doing so simply restores the problems that were fixed. Please follow Wikipedia:Dispute resolution and discuss things instead. I'm more than happy to discuss things with you here on this talk page and explain why each change was made. Disagreements over article content are best resolved through discussion and not through edit warring. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:29, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Marchjuly: I agree that your changes were good improvements to the article and I also removed a list of trails and ski chairs as this was (1) unsourced and (2) an undue level of detail, but this has been reverted without discussion or explanation. - Aoidh (talk) 23:27, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Aoidh: FWIW, I only came across this article because some image files were being used in section headings which isn't something that's really allowed per MOS:ACCIM and MOS:HEAD. After cleaning that up, I noticed there were some other MOS and formatting errors as well; so, I cleaned them up. I also removed the promotional and unsourced content about season passes and did some other clean up. After these changes were reverted the first time, I posted something at User talk:DyslexicNerd 01, this talk page and also on relevant WikiProject talk pages. Other users then showed up and did some more clean up. After that things seem to have spiraled out of control and DyslexicNerd 01 ended up getting blocked. Anyway, a couple of the citations I added to the section about snow tubing mention something about a recent ownership change. That might be something worth adding to the article if more stuff about it can be found. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:21, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
