Notability[edit]

I would argue that the fact the NCAA play-in game is held here every year makes it inherently notable. If there are no objections, I'm going to remove the tag. Newsboy85 (talk) 03:04, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think that makes it inherently notable, I think significant coverage in secondary sources does. It does seem that this arena is notable, however the sources aren't properly cited in the article so it's hard to tell. There is one bad link (the NCAA history) which would be great to have to establish notability. The other source is a primary source because it comes from the Flyers themselves. I have noted this in the article so we can try to find acceptable secondary sources. I don't see in the Dayton source where it says that coaches have hailed it as "one of the greatest venues in college basketball". It's simply not in the source anywhere. I think that source can be used for some basic info like construction dates and whatnot, but controversial info (like that quote) need a source that actually says it. —Noetic Sage 04:26, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I won't argue it needs work, but it's low on my priority list. I don't think I've actually done anything other than add the UD template. I just have all the UD-related articles watchlisted. Newsboy85 (talk) 05:21, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've re-added a link to establish the number of NCAA tournament games played at the venue. I'm removing the notability template - the number of NCAA tournament games played at the venue should more than establish notability. --fuzzy510 (talk) 01:02, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I found a source for the first ESPN HD Broadcast. Unfortunately, I am not versed enough in editing to add it, so I'll add it to the talk page. http://www.cavenger.com/espn.php —Preceding unsigned comment added by Danbert8 (talkcontribs) 23:24, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Heh. That's actually an old version of ESPN. An IP removed the reference to UD with this edit. There was no source. Thanks for trying to help, though! Newsboy85 (talk) 06:29, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on UD Arena. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
