Main event build-up[edit]

Should this be on the page? I believe so because it adds value to the page. A big reason why articles were getting deleted was because most pages lacked content. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.249.47.196 (talk) 20:14, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Joseph comes with a wealth of experience and looks to use his timing to counter the very fast Johnson." <- That line needs to be removed desperately. It sounds very partial to Benavidez and just isn't very useful to the article as a whole. Maybe discuss the bouts they had in the tournament and how they won as opposed to their styles. Sounds like a good Idea, I will make the update unless someone does before me.192.249.47.196 (talk) 17:53, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Content should be merged with UFC 151[edit]

Once we see what the new card is going to be for UFC 151, the content on this page should be moved to UFC 151, with the UFC 153 event moving to this page (and so on and so forth).Froo (talk) 18:18, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Benavidez/Johnson has been put as the co-main event for Bones/Machida II. i say we remove all the fights except for machida/bones and benavidez/johnson and make it UFC 151 as dana white and ariel helwani have pointed out during the media call and add the fights when the new card is announced. for now there are two official fights.Imhungry4444 (talk) 20:19, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The UFC Twitter already stated that UFC 151 will exist as an event, but will not happen, so the next event will be 152. The website has already been updated removing the 151 card and keeping the 152 card and adding Jones/Machida fight. No need to remove the card etc. (Stewwie (talk) 20:23, 23 August 2012 (UTC))[reply]
