I agree with this proposed merge. UFC Fight Night 177 is just a duplicate at this point, so let's finally get this messed cleaned up now. — 29cwcst (talk) 23:30, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Cassiopeia, Gsfelipe94, Regice2020, and Cepiolot: To all it may concern, June 10 is when discussions regarding a proposed merge will close. After that, I shall merge these two pages if there's no objection, feedback or response from any of you. Simply put, I'm not prepared to wait any longer or waste any more time. — 29cwcst (talk) 00:50, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

29cwcs Good day. It is not your choice of not wanting to wait any longer as this is Wikipedia and there are guidelines and not subject to one's inclination. You have close a premature change of article name before which indicated to me you dont understand the guidelines of when and the requirements when closing a request. I advise you dont not close/merge the articles indicated and considered this is a warning. When discussions and opinions of editors have been voiced of this merging and sufficient time is given then the request can be closed by editors who are not involved in the discussion which I hope I can get one to help up for the closing. (at least a week if we got consensus if not it will run for a few weeks to a month until no more discussions for a week or more - that is the general guidelines. Admin backlog for closing is about a month) I understand your frustration and wanting to help and slove the issue which is also my and majority of the editors's want; however when a tag of request is raised, we need to adhere to guidelines instead of just do what we think is right. We have to understand this is Wikipedia, there are certain guidelines or way of doing thing might not be agreed by us but if we going to edit here then we adhere to the guidelines. It is the same if a MMA fighter want to compete in UFC then they are adhere to have USADA drug test and would face the consequences if the MMA fighter fails the test. Stay safe and best. Agree. Gsfelipe94 (talk) 19:54, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Cassiopeia and Gsfelipe94: Fine, but that's for you lot to determine. I should've just left well enough alone because you're the ones who made this mess, therefore you folks have to clean it up now. At the end of the day, I know what the rightful solution is here and it's the same with UFC Fight Night 176, UFN 176 and 178 as well. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page once you're done debating. — 29cwcst | 23:15, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
29cwcst Greegtings. I understand and appreciate you want to help and I am not the one who made this mess but rather I am try very hard to communicate with all MMA editors here to request for cooperation and provide all info, advice and links so they would understand how things work in Wikipedia. I have time and time again to ask editor not simply to tag merge/change of article name as one the tags are raise, it will take at least 10 days to 7 weeks or more to get thing straighten out. We can redirect or use the same article name for quick turnabout for we have to adhere to Wikipeia guidlines to get all parties views and wait until not more discussion for at least 7 - 4 weeks before it could be closed. If editor keep on tagging and recreate the articles then it will make more mess and complicated the issues. So please be patient and ride this out for another 1-2 months to get everything settle and dont tag or redirect or recreate any pages for the time being until we slove the issue. Please stay safe 29cwcst and best. Cassiopeia(talk) 03:15, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
