Screen shot[edit]

Is there any particular reason we should use a fair use Windows screen shot and not the copy left Ubuntu one? It seems the important part is showing the program, which both do, with the exception that the window decorator on the Windows version is copy righted. --Falcorian (talk) 19:33, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sort of neutral about this, in my opinion, it was nice to have screenshots of the program on the most popular platforms that it runs on, but then there is the problem of copyright, blah, blah... fair-use... and that complicates things... SF007 (talk) 19:45, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Falcorian, why don't you go ahead and create the one you want instead of complaining? Another picture for the article certainly won't hurt. 87.181.194.204 (talk) 16:57, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How does it work?[edit]

Can someone add some information on how Unetbootin actually works? It would be interesting to know how to do what it does manually. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.85.216.235 (talk) 09:57, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, disregard that. I already found and read their Wiki page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.85.216.235 (talk) 10:06, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I still think it would add to the article if we could learn how it works under the hud. I would suspect it's actually just a front-end that uses a bunch of well-known shell programs to create the device. 87.181.194.204 (talk) 17:01, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Official website[edit]

UNetbootin's official website is https://unetbootin.github.io/. A series of IPs tracing to Sri Lanka have been trying to change the official website to what seems to be a counterfeit official website. - Ahunt (talk) 18:33, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
