Fair use rationale for Image:Astral logo.gif[edit]

Image:Astral logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:35, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality[edit]

There have been reports from UPC subscribers that the company is using traffic shaping, and UPC was at one time listed on the "Traffic shaping" wikipedia article, so I added that on the article. It seems that the information has been deleted with no reason given on the talk page, which led to my tagging of this article as NPOV dispute. It seems the same user who made the deletion added an "Internet subscriptions" section which might mean he is an UPC employee trying to advertise. Romanian forum users suggest that employees of the company admitted that the network infrastructure UPC is using might not be able cope with such advertised speeds. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.106.116.66 (talk) 19:36, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

==[edit]

Maybe he wasn't a UPC employee. The person who made the remark regarding UPC's subscriptions is not even a UPC customer, but a RDS customer (a direct competitor to UPC), that's why he likes to blame other people —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.41.60.34 (talk) 00:46, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trafic shaping information has disappeared again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.113.140.180 (talk) 09:36, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

List of Channels[edit]

There used to be a list of channels available on Wikipedia showing UPC Romania's channels, but due to Wikipedia's policies, it's since been removed. As I think this information is relevant to readers, I've posted a link to a Wiki with a listing of UPC Romania's channels; however, the list could do with some updating, if anyone here is able to contribute. I've also added a link to UPC Romania's official website. Wyp (talk) 12:29, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
