Characterization of Sen. Stennis in the "Controversy" section[edit]

There's an edit war going on, on how to label Sen. Stennis in the "controversy" section. It seems to me the current state, with no characterization at all (neither party affiliation nor political bent) is appropriate. His political party is not the reason there is opposition to the name; his conservative vs. liberal placement on that axis is also not the reason for the opposition. His segregationist policies are the reason for the opposition. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 16:08, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I couldn't agree more with your assessment on this. Chemprofmatt (talk) 03:17, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Portrayed the "Sea Hawk" in an episode of NCIS[edit]

Why no Popular Culture section? Especially since the ship was used as a "stand-in" for the Sea Hawk in an episode ("Agent Afloat") of NCIS. 2600:8800:204:C400:4490:734D:26EA:D712 (talk) 22:46, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Because most such mentions don't follow the WP:MILPOP guide. This appearance doesn't appear to either. BilCat (talk) 23:08, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
