The information about Ulaghchi's young age and the regency of Berke are from the German version of this article. However, I've seen one source (pdf) that states that officials from Novgorod negotiated directly with Ulaghchi, and that he ordered a census; implying some degree of capability as a leader. -- Takwish 18:44, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
