Description[edit]

i am not sure how yet or if this if a good possible article and place to start for it but i submitted this for article Undermountain.

Undermountain is a vast labyrinth of caverns under the area of Waterdeep. At least nine levels deep and possibly more. These caverns' true creators are unknown. Currently Halaster Blackcloak is rumored to use Undermountain as his playground (307 DR - 1370 DR). The lower 3 levels were delved by dwarves. Below that not much is known of Undermountain.

The upper levels house many famous sites such as Skullport, also known as the Port of Shadows. Qilué and the Promenade of Eilistraee, a temple complex North-east of Skullport dedicated to the good aligned followers of Eilistraee. Both of which are on the third level.

Madgoth's Castle also lies below the depths of Undermountain.

Many gates lead into Undermountain from all over Faerûn.

needs work badly[edit]

OK it was forever ago since I started on this before I even knew how to sign in to wikipedia! =P So let's get this child grown up a bit and show the importance of Undermountain in Forgotten Realms and the real world impact it has had. Where should we start? shadzar-talk 05:06, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion of Expedition to Undermountain and the massive Undermountain dungeon that was made on the Wizards of the Coast website would be good. -Drilnoth (talk) 21:03, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What's the point of the article? Aaroncrick(Tassie talk) 05:07, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?[edit]

Would anybody object this article is merged into Waterdeep (city)? Thanks.—RJH (talk) 19:39, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'll take that as a 'no'. Thanks.—RJH (talk) 19:48, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
