Alternative rock?[edit]

I'm not sure about Wiki's guidelines regarding musical genres (if a single needs to match the album), but this song is almost certainly R&B. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.149.114.118 (talk) 05:04, 21 October 2009

In regards to the hamster "wheel"... If you get a version of the music video that is in proper sync with the audio then it looks like the basses on the wheel pass by the stationary flaps and "plays" them, not unlike raised bumps in a music box play notes as they pass by a tuned comb. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mvsaha (talkcontribs) 04:24, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Depeche Mode Comparison[edit]

There is mention of a comparison between this song and the Depeche Mode song "New Life" in the Background section. I don't know if you've ever heard it, but there is a stark contrast in the songs' moods; "New Life" upbeat and a bit lighter, and "Undisclosed Desires" having more minor chords and thus sounding much darker and heavier, giving the songs quite different feels. I realize that the comparison has still been made, and that is all that is said in the article, but the validity of the comparison in the source text is questionable due to a lack of thorough explanation of why the author felt the songs were similar, so it might not be appropriate to include.
