Peruvian Peace Proposal[edit]

This article states that Argentina rejected the Peruvian peace proposal. However, the Spanish Wikipedia states that Argentina actually accepted this proposal and it was the United Kingdom instead which rejected the proposal ("Varios días antes de la aprobación de la resolución 505, Perú propuso un acuerdo de paz que fue aceptado por Argentina pero no por el Reino Unido.") under this reference: Gamba, Virginia (1987). The Falklands/Malvinas war: a model for North-South crisis prevention. Taylor & Francis. pp. 174. ISBN 978-0-04-497026-2.

These are obviously conflicting versions, and I was asking myself which one is true. I think this fact was mentioned in 2011 film "The Iron Lady", saying that Thatcher wouldn't accept peace until the islands were retaken. Forgive me if I'm mistaken. --Jamez42 (talk) 01:39, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Update: A editor changed information regarding this proposal and said he would research further.--Jamez42 (talk) 20:46, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
