Filled out, cleaned up

I've tried to do a more even handed clean up (taken out the marketing-speak silliness), and so have taken off the "clean up" tag. I also added some more info.

Also added the 3ds max section to deal with all of that (what-I-would-consider biased) "other" info that had previously been included.

Any advice sincerely appreciated. Elena the Quiet 06:27, 6 June 2007 (UTC)ElenatheQuiet

I'm taking out the movies listed as "None of the movies you have listed have "officially" used Vray in any way." according to Chris Nichols, one of the guys who worked on them (also a v-ray legend) who I contacted about this. Elena the Quiet 23:37, 6 June 2007 (UTC)elenathequiet

Clunky english

This sounds like it was written by someone not fluent in English. The flow and style needs to be cleaned up. --24.249.108.133 21:27, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Then just do it! :-)  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  08:31, 22 February 2021 (UTC)

Symantec V-Ray

There are now a new Technology, named V-Ray, at Symantec: see http://www.symantec.com/business/theme.jsp?themeid=vray --PaKo (talk) 13:45, 9 September 2011 (UTC)

It's not "a new Technology" but just some security software more properly named "Virtualization Ray", for monitoring VMs. Symantec is now part of Broadcom, and there is no such product or service. This appears to have been abandoned ca. 2012, and it is not notable, so WP has no reason to care or to account for it.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  08:31, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
