2006[edit]

I heard she is also Jewish. Any truth to this.

I guess she might be. But I removed the line until someone provides a good source... (sorry) JackO'Lantern 19:26, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Judaism, if you are talking about her religion, is not ancestry or ethnicity. We already know that her mum is Egyptian and her father is German; that should suffice.

Yes it is ethnicity, though it's not clear if she is or not The Conundrum 07:23, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Her father is a German Jew and her mother is an Egyptian Jew. I just googled it though, don't have a reliable source so I won't put it in the article Samiam1611 (talk) 19:21, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

2008[edit]

How so? Would one categorize Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, etc as an ethnic group? If that was the case, then Muslim would be used instead of Arab, Berber, and Malay (Indonesia). I only use these examples due to the predominance of the religion in those areas. If we are to classify people by religion, then lets be uniform and do it for the whole lot. After all people can chose to change their religion, ethnic background cannot be changed.

see the wikipedia article Who is a Jew?. Unlike the religions you listed, Jewish is a religion and an ethnicity. Samiam1611 (talk) 18:02, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think the phrase "public gangbanging" needs to be removed, unless it's a direct quote,

anybody know her connection to handsome donkey? In case you didnt know, handsome donkey is a group that makes short films and she somehow is either in each one or helps in some way...anybody know any more?

She could well be a member of the Coptic Orthodox religion as her mom is Egyptian (and Muslims women can't marry non-muslim men, assuming her dad is not muslim (I'm sure he isn't muslim as her given name is not Arabic and Germans - unless of turkish descent are not muslim). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.175.224.18 (talk) 09:59, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Suspect information[edit]

Vanessa's Twitter feed, littlelengies, which is a Verified Account, retweets the pointer to a blog post about a very recent photo shoot she did with Guiliano Bekor. In it, he recounts how during the course of it, she mentioned how very inaccurate her IMDB entry is, and proceded to mention three facts there, two false and one true. One of the inaccuracies is the claim that her middle name is "Lynne-Marie".

Assuming the post is accurate, then everything on that Facebook page (is it even hers?) is suspect, and shouldn't be used. The obvious question: can we cite a blog post as a reliable source in this instance, because Vanessa herself retweets a pointer to it, attesting to the fact that it's genuine. I don't want to start throwing the baby out with the bathwater; one way or another, we need sources, but reliable ones. I'm thinking that the Facebook page may be as bad as IMDB in this case, if not a partial clone thereof. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:11, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

With today's edit to give her middle name as "Brittany", also unsupported so far as I can determine, it's time to prune out unsupported information about her, including the Facebook page. I'm removing the middle name and using another source for her birthday. Better sources are always welcome. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:02, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Her birth year was 1990?![edit]

I remember when she was on American Dreams. She was not 12 when she first started on American Dreams. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.252.132.85 (talk) 19:03, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely correct. Someone changed her birth year from 1985 to 1990 three days ago (but left the infobox alone), and we missed it. Thanks for point it out; I've reverted the invalid edit. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:32, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
