The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Vanilla sugar/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

How big is a "package" of vanilla sugar? It would be helpful if the substitution ratio of vanilla (extract) for vanilla sugar were clearer. (For example, in Sweden vaniljsocker is sold in 140 g. packages -- obviously not equal to one teaspoon of vanilla extract!)
