Veleta "is the third highest peak of the Iberian peninsula". That is wrong. It is the second highest peak of the Iberian peninsula, the third highest peak of Spain, after Teide and Mulhacén. Teide doesn't belong to the Iberian peninsula. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 150.214.194.72 (talk) 12:29, 5 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

you've missed out Aneto from your list, which is higher than Veleta. JMiall 16:20, 5 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

By car...[edit]

It should be mentioned that it is not allowed to drive up there. The road is closed for private traffic at about 2500m a.s.l. Regards, 46.115.128.14 (talk) 18:22, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Aneto[edit]

The page writes that Veleta is the 2nd highest peak of the Iberian peninsula. The Aneto is higher, however. Aren't the Spanish Pyrenees considered a part of the peninsula? Where exactly do you locate the boundary between the peninsula and remaining Europe? If you draw the line across the summit of Aneto and/or the Vignemale, Aneto should be considered a part of the peninsula, and therefore its 2nd highest peak.
