Thrash metal?[edit]

I wouldn't call it thrash metal despite the riff of No Way out being thrashy. I'd put it more in alternative metal. 69.144.70.113 (talk) 16:55, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

We go by what reliable sources say. Your opinion is invalid. DannyMusicEditor (talk) 22:06, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
As a matter of fact, that "reliable source" was a dated article from 2013 about their previous album, "Temper Temper". The band has not said anything about thrash metal when talking about this album. As a result, both the wrong source and "thrash metal" has been removed. Venomous (talk) 07:00, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That had nothing to do with Temper Temper. That was clearly spoken about as their next studio album, which at the time did not have a title. Notice how they "announce" a producer for a "new album." This was dated post-release of Temper, and said producer was Terry Date. While he doesn't end up producing the album, it wasn't referring to Don Gilmore either (Temper producer). While that has nothing to do with Thrash metal, it proves they're talking about this album, thus making it fit to be called thrash metal by this source.
