20%?[edit]

I feel reasonably sure that that 20% figure for blood flow is true for all persons. And that the problem is that it makes a noise? I don't dare make the fix, and I lack sources. But if it is accurate, there should be some other figure for people without venous hum. 92.254.213.205 (talk) 11:26, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I completely agree. A figure alone serves nothing without being related if you want to make a point of this figure being slightly abnormal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.15.135.14 (talk) 07:45, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The 20% figure is the generally accepted average proportion of cardiac output for an average person at rest. This figure is no different in persons experiencing a venous hum. Why some people get the hum and some don't is not clear, but it is not a consequence of changes in this proportion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jdatkinson (talkcontribs) 09:36, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The same[edit]

This article states the same information twice in different wording. S!lver NL (talk) 12:05, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
