References[edit]

Reference 1 states: "The Château d'Haroué by Germain Boffrand is often cited as an inspiration for Carrère & Hastings' plans for Vernon Court. Resemblances are limited to the prominent slate roof à la française with small dormers, prominent chimneys and the segmental arch-headed fenestration." The reference fails to say who exactly is doing this citing. Any resemblance between the two is extremely fleeting, and I can't help wondering if the vague resemblance is coincidental rather than intentional. Giano (talk) 20:04, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
