CSD[edit]

This was a legitimate article, created in June of 2006, about a legitimately encyclopedic politician. More recently, somebody from North Bay overwrote the existing article with a copy-paste from the city website. As the AFD discussion makes clear, the primary reason for deeming it delete-worthy was that it was a copyvio — the discussion contains no evidence that anybody noticed the fact there was actually a legitimate article sitting in the edit history. Bad followup edits to a previously valid article should be dealt with by reverting to the previous version, not by deleting the article entirely.

And neither did anybody ever add it to the Canada-related deletions page, which was supposed to be done to notify potentially interested parties that the article was under discussion.

At any rate, what I've restored here is the original, non-copyvio version of the article, and as the AFD was based primarily on a copyvio claim that is not applicable to the older version that I restored, this does not constitute a reposting of deleted material. Right, OK, that must have been a misunderstanding. I've removed the tag. On second thoughts this person does seem to be a notable figure after all, actually.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 04:42, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe it should go through with a proper AfD though explaining the circumstances? The last AfD didn't seem to get much attention.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 04:43, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Bearcat 06:04, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Leader of the Opposition & Doug Ford[edit]

Fedeli (as of now) is still Leader of the Opposition. Ford can't hold that position without a seat. Ford MAY appoint someone else from his party to lead within the legislature, but since he hasn't done that yet, Fedeli still holds that title. RoyalObserver (talk) 03:18, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
