Dubious Information[edit]

Caps and goal figures in the article likely contain European cup/Domestic cup data in addition to Domestic League data (this is very certain based on this user's previous edits containing similar information [1]. Please correct this issue and leave a note here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Alfmaster#Footballers.27_European_goals, to warn this person about putting improper information on Wikipedia. --Palffy 21:21, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I fix the appearances based on this website http://soccernet.espn.go.com/players/stats?id=12382&cc=3436 --User:Martin tamb, 16 October 2006

I believe that Aaron Vinter was the first player of Indian origin to play in a World Cup finals. He was an excellent winger on the Dutch teams 1994 and 1998 I think - someone can correct me on that.

PH- Trinidad

Aron Winter played in 1990 and 1994 for Holland, and his claim to be the "first finals player of Indian origin" certainly predates that of Dhorasoo, but the Dutch East Indies in 1938 had a couple of players "of Indian origin" in their team (Anwar and the captain Nawir), predating Dhorasoo by 68 years. I wish people would stop adding this dubious "fact"; some journalist somewhere decided it was true because they couldn't remember Winter and didn't know about the '38 players, and it's been repeated as fact ever since. Doesn't make it true.

Telugu?[edit]

Dhorasoo can be a changed form of durairaasu. durairaasu in spoken form is called as thorraasu. So, it must be a tamil anme. He must be a tamil person and his parents must have come from tamil nadu. Is there any citations to prove that he is a telugu? -தமிழ்க்குரிசில் (talk) 12:58, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
