Request for sourcing on Monsters of the Episode[edit]

Please do not remove the maintanance tags, the purpose is to draw attention to the fact that these are unreferenced and begins gives those who want to improve the article time to collect the source before they are removed. Hasteur (talk) 22:53, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The references will be to the television show. Tagging each section as unreferenced seems really unnecessary when the source can be directly inferred to be the episodes.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 22:54, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of monsters[edit]

That list was way too detailed and comprised more than twice the length of the rest of the article. It needs to be trimmed down to a size that doesn't mean we give a detailed episode summary for each god damn monster of the week.—Ryulong (琉竜) 18:43, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

All the villain pages for the different Power Rangers series had the monsters listed there ever since someone had the monster pages deleted. Where else are we supposed to put the monster info? Rtkat3 (talk) 2:17, October 28 2012 (UTC)
The monster info needs to be drastically cut down. Look at the recent Super Sentai pages to see what the information should consist of. We do not need to give an entire episode rundown for each monster.—Ryulong (琉竜) 10:53, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
How should we do it then even by the next Power Rangers series? Rtkat3 (talk) 6:47, November 1 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, this somehow got lost in my watch list. The entries on individual monsters need to be tons shorter. A simple description of the powers and the voice actor are all that is really necessary. Anything else, such as their entire role in a particular episode, should be relegated to an episode list description rather than here.—Ryulong (琉竜) 19:42, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I used to do brief descriptions for the monsters back when they had their own pages until I ended up getting in on expanding the monster's history and cameos. Maybe you can do what you planned to do with the monsters here when you get the chance. Rtkat3 (talk) 10:02, November 10 2012 (UTC)
I am under no requirement to do anything. I am removing the monster list again because it comprises 2/3% of this page and that is entirely unacceptable. Before you add it back, it has to be cut down to length.—Ryulong (琉竜) 19:01, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
How do you want us to do it? Like [Insert Nighlok Monster here] is a [Insert it's description here] and it can [Insert Nighlok abilities here]. Rtkat3 (Rtkat3) 2:43, November 24 2012 (UTC)
Just take a brief look at Vaglass to see how we set the Japanese pages up (just the "Metaloid" section, because the bifurcated monster of the week set up is annoying, it'd normally be half that big). I think the main problem is that you're spending too much on this page to serve as a play by play when the list of episodes should cover that.—Ryulong (琉竜) 19:56, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe we can try that. Of course it was shown that Skarf and Gigertox have second forms like some of the demons from Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue. Rtkat3 (talk) 2:57, November 24 2012 (UTC)
That's WP:OR to connect them to previous shows. Just use what this show says about them to describe them.—Ryulong (琉竜) 07:19, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
