Despite the astonishingly lengthy edit war yesterday between Zxirius and AfricanChristmas, there is no discussion on the talk page. In surfing around to update this I noted that Mrs. McCaskey is described as 90 years old in the history section of the edit-protected Bears article (ten years out of date for her present age and not correct for when it was noted (marking her takeover in 1983) either).
Also the ownership segment there says Halas remained "president and principal owner" until his death in 1983 but as noted in this article and elsewhere George Halas Jr. became president from 1963 until his death with George Sr. principal owner but no longer president until Jr. died.
