History[edit]

I haven't figured out when the whole route was added, so here's what I can find, and what I have written:

  • 5 mi Morven to SR 13 at Tobaccoville 03-1923-02 21, 06-1923-01 7
  • 4 mi extension towards Amelia 02-1925-01 4
  • 1.1 mi extension, Amelia north 05-1926-01 19
  • 10.82 mi Amelia towards Namozine 08-1928-02 28
  • Dinwiddie, 7.00 mi Sutherland towards Namozine 08-1928-02 28
  • 2 mi extension towards Namozine 08-1929-01 16
  • 5.91 mi extension towards Dinwiddie County 12-1930-02 10
  • 0.84? mi extension, Namozine towards Petersburg 07-1931-01 70
  • 4.39? mi extension towards Dinwiddie County 07-1932-03 18

Total mileage is 9.63 from Morven to Amelia, 7.03+3.01+13.48 mi east of Amelia in Amelia County, and 6.93 mi in Dinwiddie County. This adds up east of Amelia. --NE2 08:47, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The road from Morven northwest to State Route 13 at Tobaccoville was added to the state highway system in 1923 as State Route 132, a spur of SR 13.[1] An extension from Morven southeast towards State Route 20 (now U.S. Route 360) at Amelia was added for four miles (6 km) in 1925[2], 1.1 miles (1.8 km) from the Amelia end in 1926,[3]

A road from Amelia east for 10.82 miles (17.41 km) was added in 1928.[4]
