There is some documentation that Lord Shannon had a surviving younger brother, John Boyle (1677-1763)[1], who in turn had male issue, so would the viscountcy technically be dormant rather than extinct?C'est la vie (talk) 16:21, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
