Dates don't line up[edit]

Hello, according to the article the factory was founded September 26th, 1990. But a few lines down it's claimed in 1989 there was production of Trabant 1.1. How can you build cars in a not-yet existing factory? This feels like an attempt to connect the plant to a history it doesn't have.
