(Non) promotion for Div 1 North Champions[edit]

The article states: The team who is declared champion at the end of the season but is not allowed promotion out of the Division One North league. I'm not that clued up on club rugby in Wales, but I believe that that north Wales divisions were numbered 5 and 6 and the div 5 champions were offered promotion up to Div 4 South East. The last two teams to do this were Ruthin and Llangefni. But from 2010 (or there abouts) this was stopped (some claim due to the complaint of southern clubs who disliked travelling up north once a season!). I can't find much on-line for refs, but I think this is worth a mention here.--Rhyswynne (talk) 14:40, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
