"WUJS Arad Land language and Society Track - opportunities to interact with Israeli society"[edit]

I attended WUJS Arad in 1978 and one evening on my way to or from the dorm found myself surrounded by a bunch of aradi teenagers asking for money for hashish. Certainly an interesting interaction with the society. 147.234.31.253 (talk) 09:43, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WUJS ARAD 1968[edit]

My name is Leonard Pearl and I joined the WUJS class in 1968. This was the 2nd course to be run. I am origanilly from South Africa. At the ulpan I met my future wife, Sofia Gurdus, who came from Argentina.We got married in South Africa in 1969 and made Aliya in 1973 with our 2 children aged one and a half and 3.
