More on Wandy's Name[edit]

There seems to be a relevant bit of information missing from the article: Wandy was signed (and played in the minors) under an assumed name and an assumed age. ERA[edit]

"Rodriguez preformed decently in the World Series, though getting a loss, he posted a 2.45 ERA in the 4 losses to the Chicago White Sox." Uhm, Rodriguez did not pitch all four games of the World Series himself. Too sleepy to correct this right now.

Pronunciation of Wandy[edit]

Just wondering if anyone knows how his name is pronounced. For the entire season I thought it rhymed with Randy, but in the WS McCarver/Joe Buck keep calling him something closer to "Juan-dee". I'm PRETTY sure I've heard his name pronounced like Randy with a W on astros.com replays, but does anyone from the Houston area know for sure? Thanks. Drunkasian 04:55, 2005-10-26 (UTC)

Its pronounced Wand-y. Like Magic Wand. "Wahnd-ee"
