RHCP involvement[edit]
Is it Josh Klinghoffer or John Frusciante who has collaborated with the band? Article is unclear. Thedarkfourth (talk) 18:20, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
- He wasn't in the band, though he did produce their EP if I remember rightly. The frontwoman, Emily Kokai, was dating him. Howisstifflucky (talk) 05:20, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- I think article is pretty clear, both have collaborated: Josh as a member (stated in Former Members) and John mixing an album (stated in Exquisite Corpse).(200.114.213.51 (talk) 19:33, 23 May 2013 (UTC))
Improvement[edit]
Is it possible to write articles about Warpaint members ? It would enrich this one. Thanks for your answer. Erιne (talk) 20:46, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
- Separate articles would require sufficient sourced content to justify them and to satisfy a lot of editors they would also require individual notability beyond this band, i.e. coverage relating to activities beyond Warpaint. I would suggest that any sourced encyclopedic content would be better added to this article for now and separate articles only created when there's enough content to make it worthwhile. --Michig (talk) 20:54, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
Detailed lists of music gear do not belong here[edit]
How many times is this one person, under different names, going to try and add this long list of the band members' musical gear? Did they not read the prior revisions, where IdiotChalk told them the list was nonencyclopedic and did not belong? Or mine: "A detailed list of band members' preferred gear/effects is not appropriate in an encyclopedic Wikipedia article like this; as prior editor noted)". Please stop trying to add this. It's not appropriate for a Wikipedia article like this one.Greg Fasolino (talk) 11:36, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
Assessment[edit]
Class=start doesn't pass as a joke, and I was tempted to decree class=B, i.e., better than the class=B Emma Blackery, where I'm shooting for GA. I didn't know that WP:PR exists, testing this here now after an unilateral class=C.
Step 2 of WP:PR requires a new subpage in the project namespace, submitted as Draft:Wikipedia:Peer review/Warpaint (band)/archive1, let's see what happens. –84.46.53.249 (talk) 08:26, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
- WP:Peer review/Warpaint (band)/archive1 now exists, but AFC is no way to do this again, somebody considered the submission as "test edit", and an edit filter tags IP edits with "/archive" as "new user modifying archives". –84.46.52.123 (talk) 03:47, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
