The route description seems awfully short for a 14 mile long road. Is there any more information that can be added, such as what physical environments it passes through?
The sentence "After 1967, US 830 was deleted and SR 14 was realigned south onto a newer alignment and in 1991, SR 140 was removed from the state highway system." needs to be broken into two.
Can some pictures of the old road be added to the article? The map in reference 10, which is a PD source, can be cropped to show SSH 8B and be used as an image in the article.
