Fair use rationale for Image:Watchers.jpg[edit]

Image:Watchers.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Rewrite[edit]

This article desperately needs an overhaul. It's written more as an advertisement for the novel than as an objective description, and the list of characters is misleading (with the supporting character Vincent getting a full paragraph, but main characters Nora and the Outsider mentioned only in passing reference to other characters). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.120.10.62 (talk) 12:59, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, and anyone with time available, and a copy of the book handy, is free to do a rewrite. As it is, the article lacks WP:Citations, both for the parts of the story summarized and for evidence of WP:Notability. --Marc Kupper|talk 16:25, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article has been rewritten. I'm very new to Wikipedia, but I became an editor out of necessity. The articles for Dean Koontz novels are atrocious. Hope I did the article justice and hope I used references correctly. Input would be wonderful. Also, whoever cleaned up the summary I wrote: Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you. You did such a fantastic job that it would be awesome if we could work together on other Koontz novels. --User talk:Henry Littlehorse —Preceding undated comment added 20:45, 6 February 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Citation and Expansion[edit]

This article, like a lot of articles on this author's works, is incomplete and is missing important information on the novel including info on the novel's development (if it exists), reception, themes, and legacy which needs to be added to the article with proper citations for its information. The article only gives citations from the novel and never anywhere else, this will need to be fixed so that there are more sources cited in this article.--Paleface Jack (talk) 15:28, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
