Why Does This Have Its Own Entry?[edit]

Watchmensch was a minor blip in the comics industry. It was a fanmade parody, nothing more. It made no impact on the industry and went almost entirely unnoticed. Why would it warrant its own entry? It's just not important enough.

"Comprised of" vs "composed of"[edit]

While I respect Giraffedata's in-depth reasoning as to why he is peeved at the usage of "comprised of", preferring instead "composed of", I remain unconvinced that its substitution is warranted in every case. He (as well as Tim Ross' discussion as to the usage) make several good points. However, we have a cited allowance for the current usage of this word, which is actually not a relatively new conflation, but rather a much older word being extended into use.
I would not presume to possess skill equivalent to Giraffedata to sufficiently engage in a semantical dispute as it regards this topic; that said, I think it is appropriate to note that - as the term is noted as being allowed by at least eight different reliable sources - we are firm footing to simply agree to disagree. Both terms are acceptable to use in basic English and until there is the equivalent of a Vatican II for the English language and its usage, I think we must allow both terms to be used in instances where the informed editor feels it is appropriate. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 06:47, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect. "Comprised of" has no meaning in English. The proper terms are either "composed of" or "comprising." "Comprised of" is the sort of thing people say when they don't know grammar rules.

Jewish themes[edit]

Doesn't the one-shot have more Jewish themes than described in the article? At a quick glance, I notice that the Smiley's blood stain's been turned into a payot curl, for instance. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 20:15, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
