Riverside

Is Wayne Brady from Riverside? I also heard he might be a UC Riverside Alumni. --Evisruc 09:16, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

No, he was definitely born in Orlando. Dunno anything about whether he went to UC Riverside though I've never heard anything about it. I'm a UCR alumnus. Go Highlanders!!! -Wikitoddia 18:26, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
No, Wayne has said on "Let's Make a Deal" (May 11, 2010), he was born in Columbus, Georgia. He has, however, lived in Orlando, Florida.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.251.103.1 (talkcontribs) 19:36, 1 June 2010

New Movie

I saw a preview for a movie coming out starring Wayne Brady. It's about street basketball, and he plays a guy who oversees it all...but I cant think of the title

Bryant Gumbel

Curiously, neither Chappelle nor Mooney has offered any apology to Bryant Gumbel. Was he looking for an apology? I would imagine that he's numb to ridicule since it happens SO OFTEN. DonMEGA60645Talk|Contribs 16:31, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Mandy Taketa is Chinese? Are you sure?

Taketa is definitely not a Chinese surname. I suspect it may be Japanese. --Ling.Nut 17:59, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

TV.com: "Wayne's wife Mandie is from Hawaii, but is not Hawaiian; she is Japanese and Caucasian."

Son?

Is there any proof of Brady having a fifteen year old son? If so, what's the story on that? Source, anyone? Maria 14:37, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

I've removed it. No other biography I've seen mentions that he has a son. I suspect it may be an inside joke or insult relating to a young man who resembles Wayne Brady. -Anþony 06:32, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

How I Met Your Mother

The summary is not correct-needs to be changed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.46.46.17 (talk) 14:40, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Training

Does anyone know about Wayne Brady's Improv background before Whose Line? All of the other performers have Second City, Theatre Sports, Comedy Sports, etc. Anyone know what is training was that allowed him a chance to get a spot as a regular performer on an improv game based show?--Twintone 22:56, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

He started at SAK Comedy Lab, an improv theater in Orlando, FL. He went through at least a year or so of trainig in what SAK calls SAK University. He still makes guest appearences their and atributes SAK as his place of training. (Don't think I'm biased just because of my user name, if you don't believe me reshearch it.) Stargate

Does Wayne Brady really need to have the Wikipedia Stargate template in the discussion page? He was just a guest--he didn't have a recurring part. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.12.143.197 (talk) 19:47, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Idiots and Wikipedia do not a good match make

From http://www.lvrj.com/neon/7571132.html

Brady's Wikipedia entry claims that outtakes on the DVD version of "Chappelle's Show" suggest the entertainer had a hard time with all of this. "Idiots and Wikipedia do not a good match make," Brady responds. "I loved doing the piece. I helped write it."

202.54.176.51 15:31, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

That was already in the article, right? I don't see a problem with including part of that, but the wikipedia comment should probably be on the Wikipedia page under criticisms. 171.71.37.103 17:32, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

New Adventures of Old Christine

Has a recurring role that should be included — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.42.135 (talk) 02:19, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Keeping Up With The Kardashian's

I've just removed this line:

HE WILL ALSO GUEST APPREAR IN KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS

from the filmography section. It doesn't fit in with formatting and I can't find any confirmed reliables sources. If anyone can cite a reference then feel free to put it back in - Al.locke (talk) 15:58, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Burnley

Wayne Brady visited his home town of Burnley, England? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.69.180.30 (talk) 04:54, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

Divorce

Uhh...the papers were filed in August 08 and the disso was finalized in APRIL 08?? Wayne and his wife apparently invented time travel!!

I suspect the papers were filed in August 07...California law allows for finalization of a divorce 6 months and one day after first service of the petition...August 07 to April 08 is 8 months (presuming filing and service at the beginning of August and the final dissolution at the end of April)...a reasonable time for the court to finalize the matter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.112.210.173 (talk) 06:53, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Chapelle's Show

I'm curious as to why the mention of Wayne's appearance on Chapelle's Show was removed.Jzcrandall (talk) 23:39, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Hyperbole

"Brady astounded viewers with his amazing singing, acting abilities, displays of athleticism, his dead-on impressions of various singers and his sense of humor."

Did he?... I think this is being too kind. He is great but this is too much, no? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.41.108.140 (talk) 16:23, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

It is also stated that "Some say Brady is the most influential person since Mother Theresa." This really needs a reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.187.245.181 (talkcontribs) 09:46, 11 April 2011

I don't see his show listed on the Venetian's website anymore...does he still perform there? —Preceding unsigned comment added by CoW mAnX (talkcontribs) 18:57, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

(Non) Membership in Delta Upsilon

I could find no mention of his membership in the cited article, or on the fraternity's notable alumni page (http://www.deltau.org/meetus/notablealumni). Further, Delta Upsilon has never had a Miami chapter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Delta_Upsilon_Chapters). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.88.145.129 (talk) 05:16, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

Why is there no Career data on Wayne before 1997

I recently saw an episode of In the Heat of the Night (circa 1991-92?) where Wayne played a starring role as a retarded youth who became caught up in a mass murder. Why was this important role eliminated from his bio.? (See "In the Heat of the Night" Guest Stars section)— Preceding unsigned comment added by MelD2 (talkcontribs) 02:13, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

I believe this is because Wayne is actually Tiao Cruz and that is when the alter ego was created. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.87.115.10 (talk) 02:20, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
