Weather forecaster[edit]

The lead of this article would be improved if it said that weather presenters are sometimes known as "weather forecasters". Vorbee (talk) 18:56, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Weather presenters are not doing forecasts, they just present the forecast. A weather forecaster is an operational meteorologist, do not mix presentation with forecasting. All of this is explained in the text of the article! Pierre cb (talk) 23:56, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
