Definite article[edit]

I'm curious to know the thinking behind THE New Zealand Company and ~~The~~ Wellington City Council but thanks for the thanks. Eddaido (talk) 02:12, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In the first instance, the definite article is needed to make a full sentence. In the second instance, it can be left out and included; I don't have any strong preferences but to me, it reads better without the definite article and given that I edited the section anyway, I took it out.
