Philadelphia and Baltimore Central RR[edit]

I've seen the name "Philadelphia and Baltimore Central Railroad" on various maps and documents[1] referring to this railroad line, and was wondering what the relationship was between the two companies. Is it the same company before and after a reorganization, or a successor company?
