Westfield Group no longer exists - company demerged into two entities: Westfield Corporation and Scentre Group

Please be aware that Westfield Group (ASX: WDC) no longer exists In June 2014 Westfield Group demerged and formed two new companies: Westfield Corporation that owns, manages and develops Westfield shopping centres internationally and Scentre Group that owns, manages and develops Westfield shopping centres in Australia and New Zealand. They are separately listed on the ASX: Westfield Corporation: WFD Scentre Group: SCG

Hi there,

I made a note of it on the Westfield Group page and created a separate page for Westfield Corporation and Scentre Group. This should accurately reflect all the changes. J at Westfield Labs 29 October 2014

Orange Grove

As I recall the issue was the OG did NOT have council approval to operate. The current single sentence makes it look like Westfield opposed OG solely on the basis of it being nearby. I appreciate there is a link to the bigger article but perhaps this page can be tweaked? Tigerman2005 (talk) 02:02, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
