Auto Mile vs. Auto mile vs. auto mile[edit]

I believe that "Auto Mile" should be capitalized since it is a proper name. Compare with British Columbia for example: it is incorrect to write "British columbia" or "biritsh columbia". However, a quick Google search also reveals that some people refer to it as the "Automile". This seems incorrect to me and I would like other input (perhaps someone could check with the city council). Mustard 19:04, 14 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Gang Activity[edit]

The whole gang activity subsection seems to be vanity, has been added by anons, and it lacks any reference. I believe it should be deleted altogether, or replaced by crime statistics with proper references. - Qyd(talk)20:08, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Wetaskiwin flag.png[edit]

Image:Wetaskiwin flag.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Rename page[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the proposal was move.

Rename: Wetaskiwin, AlbertaWetaskiwin Per WP:CANSTYLE and WP:PRIMARYUSAGE, this town should have an article at the undisambiguated name (see also WP:CANCITY). An internet search which excludes Wikipedia mirrors and "Alberta" still produces results exclusively related to it. Mindmatrix 15:35, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

There is a move discussion in progress on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Alberta which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. 117Avenue (talk) 00:46, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
