POV[edit]

this article seems very POV --Speed Air Man 15:28, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a lot more reference material now. Hopefully it shows where the POV is coming from and backs it up.

Dundalk FC[edit]

Dundalk FC has nothing to do with Wexford YOuths and the person who keeps editing the page to suggest a connection is doing it maliciously.

Fair use rationale for Image:Wexford Youths FC.jpg[edit]

Image:Wexford Youths FC.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Assessment[edit]

I have rated this a start class article. To improve it, it needs a WP:LEAD that summarises the article. The problems with neutrality need to be fixed. The current results table should be deleted and replaced with a prose summary. The ticket section reads like an WP:ADVERT. The history section needs to be merged. At the moment it is lots of individual sentences that constitute paragraphs. Try to make it flow a bit more. It is a good start, but it needs some more work to meet the B-Class standards. Kit details should be modified Wexford Youths FC have 3 strips Black for home; Burgundy for away and the new third strip is Pink with Black socks with pale Pink triangle on back. As the box is protected I cannot edit this information. Mwmarywallace (talk) 11:42, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Updating the squad appearances[edit]

Hi, just a note for anyone who's planning on updating the records section (I will be doing so soon). The appearances section is only correct for Connor Sinnott, the others need to have their appearances added for the 2009 season and the current one also. The goals section is up to date as of today. Backbeatlistener (talk) 23:22, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The goals section is now up-to-date as of 20/5/10. Will add the league goals as they come, and I'll get around to the appearances section soon enough. Backbeatlistener (talk) 16:49, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
