Please add an ALT description for the infobox image and the image in the body of the article.

The second sentence of the lead’s first paragraph seems rather long. I would recommend breaking it apart into two smaller sentences to avoid a run-on sentence.

I do not believe the phrase “A then-recent Grammy Award-winner” is necessary for the lead’s second paragraph. It is not directly relevant to this article, and it sounds like something from a fan’s perspective or overly-positive towards Mya.

I would rephrase the first sentence of the lead’s second paragraph to “Disney hired Mya to…”

I would remove “the recording artist’s record label, at the time” and change “the studio’s business relationship” to “the studio and singer’s shared business relationship”.

I would separate the second sentence of the lead into two parts, with the film’s central theme being the subject of the second sentence.

The last sentence of the second paragraph of the lead is awkwardly constructed and could be worded stronger.

I do not think “non-musical” is necessary and I would say you should say the whole title of the film in the sentence as it only requires two additional words.

In the first two sentence of the lead’s third paragraph, you use the song’s full title very close in proximity. I would add variety.

How is Mya winning the Grammy Award for Moulin Rouge relevant to this article? Same goes for Aguilera’s performance of “Reflection”? Both bits of information appear to be very tangential related to this topic and could be removed.

I agree the Grammy part might be disposable (although it alludes to the fact that Mya was in high demand and peak popularity at the time due to the win, and the Moulin Rouge reference indicates the origins of her association with movie soundtracks), but I was thinking I could mention Aguilera's cover of "Reflection" as an example of Disney hiring young pop singers to promote their latest films – and it just so happens that Mya and Aguilera collaborated on "Lady Marmalade". Should you include “soft rock” in the infobox due to the first sentence of the third paragraph in the “Background and composition” section?

Publications cannot say something or cite anything. Go back through the article, and add either the author/write or just say the writer from X. Hope this part makes sense.

I would rework the “Reception” to make it a more cohesive narrative as it appears somewhat list-like in its current state and not as fully connected. I would recommend looking at the following resource here while revising the “Reception” section.

Just want to add one more note that I forgot. Please go through the references and change them to avoid SHOUTING (reference titles should not be in all CAPS even if the publication shows it that way).
