Although classified as a "fourth tier" school by U.S. News and World Report rankings,[2] the law school has also been consistently recognized by USNWR as one of the most ethnically diverse law schools in the United States, ranked 29th within the rankings.[3]

COI[edit]

Contributor's talk page now tagged with COI. --S. Rich (talk) 22:02, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Note, to declare COI, see WP:COI#Declaring_an_interest.--S. Rich (talk) 22:16, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Editing rationale[edit]

This phrase: "calculated a numerical rank for the law school but does not publish it." incorrectly assumes that USNEWS does a calculation. E.g., we stick with what we readily see on the reference. Now the other refs may have dead links (at least one does). Those will be tagged as such so that repairs or updates can be made to the links. (But we'll leave the info as is.)--S. Debt Section is Factually Incorrect and Unnecessary[edit]

According to the federal loan website: "The lifetime aggregate limits for federal student loans (FFELP and Direct) are as follows: Graduate students: $138,500 combined (only $65,500 may be subsidized; includes amounts borrowed as an undergraduate student)."

The lifetime borrowing maximum is $138,500. So why is this section calculating monthly payments based on $154,256?

More problems: 1. The $50,000 annual salary number is completely arbitrary and $12,400 less than the reported median salary of graduates. 2. Even when using the $62,400 median salary number, after AGI, the initial monthly payments are a lot less than $652. Closer to $465. 3. What does borrowing money from the FHA to buy a house have anything to do with law school tuition? The example is apples to oranges. 4. This section ignores any form of loan forgiveness after 10 years of public service employment and neglects to mention how many current Whittier students plan on going into public service.

Errors in admission ststistics[edit]

The LSAT numbers and probably some other things in the section Whittier Law School#Admission Statistics don't match up with the numbers in the source. And this section refers to the "median range", but there is no such thing as the median range. Loraof (talk) 17:05, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Links Don't Work[edit]

The PDF files simply take you to the updated, and allegedly better California Bar Website. Not the source that they're supposed to cite. 47.144.144.50 (talk) 20:21, 12 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
