Release dates[edit]

Galbraith's "The Toho Studios Story: A History and Complete Filmography" and the Japanese Movie Database give two different release dates (September 1st and August 15th). The first or one of the first Japanese films screened in the United States[edit]

Depending on the source, Wife! Be Like a Rose! was either the first (e.g. Russell) or one of the first (e.g. Galbraith) Japanese films screened in the United States. To be on the safe side, I went for the latter. Robert Kerber (talk) 19:42, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
