Just flora and fauna? No funga?[edit]

I notice this only mentions land plants and animals, but no fungi. Five species were notable enough to be included on stamps: Leucocoprinus fragilissimus, Microporus xanthopus, Trogia anthidepas, Haddowia longipes, and Phillipsia domingensis.^[1] I'm sure there are better sources on this, but it's a start. No insects and reptiles?[edit]

The book Charles W. Andrews: A Monograph of Christmas Island (Indian Ocean), Physical Features and Geology is free available at www.archive.org or with other words the article is far from being finished. Reptiles are also missing. Another good reference on this topic is A Bat's End by John C. Z. Woinarski (CSIRO, 2018) --Melly42 (talk) 08:37, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
